i don't really have any dark shadows...
i only have black/grey eyeliner and a smudger,
and how can i get it not to crease on my lid?How can i get the smokey eyed look?
Here's what I'd recommend (I spent three years working as a makeup artist at a high-end cosmetics retailer):
Layer a dusting of neutral (try for a champagne type color) eyeshadow over your browbone and your eyelid, make it pretty even.
Use the pencil to carefully drawn a thick line over your upper lashline. Use the smudger to blend this as well as possible up your eyelid.
After each eye has a layer of smudged liner, repeat the process: line your lid again - if you want to smudge it, again, feel free (it'll give the eyeliner a softer feel, good for daytime). If you want a more dramatic appearance, make sure to keep the line thick and don't smudge it.
Apply a black mascara, look for a lengthening and/or curling mascara (IMHO, these open up your eyes a lot more than other mascara). When the mascara is dry, apply a line of eyeliner underneath, on your lower lid. (Optional: some people don't like this look and it can smudge and/or draw attention to bags or puffiness undereath your eyes, so it's up to you).
Hope that helps!
Also, consider investing in a dark brown eyeshadow - it goes with basically everything, and is a great transitional color. Something with a slight shimmer is usually quite nice, as well, as it adds an added element of brightness to your eyes. How can i get the smokey eyed look?
make sure that you lids are oil free.
it will stay for awhile..but because of natural blinking..and natural oils it will eventually crease.
Hi. Look at Tyra Banks and her smokey effects. Use eyeliner first (black) then mascara, put a dark purple or blue then a gray on top.
you have to start with a soft version of smokey eyes until it get's in your hand.
try this step-by-step make-up guide
use a pretty gray or blue or brown liner and smudge it, use volumizing mascara, and apply the same color, different shades, on both lids, even the botton, but avoid the crease cuz it makes your eyes look puffy, and then blend it. You have to have a lot of confidence to pull of a smoky eye. good luck!
to make a smokey eyed look you dont nessecarily need dark shadows. try light tans and pastels and then combine with eyeliners. smudge em together and see how it looks!
smoke some weed that will do it
