What color eye shadow look good with a lime green dress? Pix included?

http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff62/鈥?/a>

I know it looks crappy but I was just trying to get an Idea of witch one will look nicer the brown or the royal blue.

The occasion is a sweet sixteen celebration for my cousin on April.

My dress is lime green and I will be wearing a peacock headpiece and silver open toe shoes.

I know that u should match the makeup to your features not to the outfit. And I really like the royal blue in my eyes but I wonder if the brown looks better?

I'm open for more suggestions.

I'M also thinking of getting highlights but I'm not sure if it will look good with the lime green dress and the peacock headpiece.

This is the highlights I want

what do you think?

Thanks! What color eye shadow look good with a lime green dress? Pix included?
If you are getting the highlights, the brown eye shadow will look better, along with a few other earthy tones (like an amber/copper necklace, and the metallic browns on the peacock feather). If you have green and blue and silver, with brown highlights, you need to have other little touches of brown to make the outfit tie together nicely.

If you are keeping your hair black, it would look really good with all the vibrant greens and blues and silver, and the blue eye shadow would complement your outfit. What color eye shadow look good with a lime green dress? Pix included?
The royal blue is really pretty, i would go with that.

Generally its better to match the eyeshadow with your eye, not your outfit.

And i wouldn't do the highlights. One-color hair is in right now.

If you do want to change your hair, go darker. It always makes it look shiny and healthy.

:)
Yes. Don't match your eyeshadow with your clothes, it looks cheap and silly.

I would go with a LITTLE bit of black eyeshadow, with some gold shadow, or shimmer, with eyeliner on the bottom.
The blue looks way better. It stands out more and it looks great with your skin color. not to mention it matches your headpiece!

And brown and green don't really go together...

The blue is definitely the one!
This video has the prettiest makeup to go with that dress! :D

I think brown tone/shades will look very nice with that dress, no silver metallic though, it'll look beautiful, have fun;)
go for the more natural tone like that on the left...

Personally, I think the royal blue looks best with the outfit and your features! ;)
the brown eyeshadow most definately.
The brown looks prettier with your eyes, and will with the dress. =)
I say brown, and ditch the headpeice it looks weird
BROWN BROWN BROWN all the way dudette. it looks better than the piece of blue poopyduke.
the brownish is better.
the one with the blue
the brownish one looks cuter :)
I think a blue would be cute...good luck!
blue it's way more fun of a color
i prefer the blue one
I think i would go with the brown since it will match the peacock headpiece and the dress. i think the blue may clash/ be too busy with the green dress.

also if you get the highlights i would stick with a more nuetral brown eye shadow just because the overall look may look to busy and too many different colors going on with the green, the peacock headpiece colors and the highlights.

but if the blue does look good and doesnt clash too much i would go with that but it may be a little to much with the headpiece and the highlights.

hope i helped !
Try blue. Blue is a very common eyeshadow color. Blues are all about being noticed, not natural. But blue doesn't necessarily go great with every ones eye color. blue goes best with brown eyes because they are so opposite that brown eyes will pop.

Consider silver/gray. Silver/gray brings on heavy metals and drama. Silver/gray are usually used as evening shades. It looks great with blue or brown eyes.

Put on brown. Brown or bronze gives off a great natural glow when worn properly. It looks best with dark brown eyes and hazel or light brown eyes depending on the shade of brown.

Be careful with green. Green is a color that was inspired by nature. One of springs best colors, it looks wonderful with Light brown or blue eyes. It can also be very easy to overdo and make you appear like the wicked witch of the East! Be careful and sparing in adding it.

Add some purple. This was the spring of 07's signature color but it looks great in any season when done well. It looks awesome with brown or green eyes.
