What should I use to brighten the area around my eyes? Concealer makes my eyes look tired.?

If concealer makes your eyes look tired you're probably either using the wrong shade,a sucky concealer,or too much.





No worries,try a white highlighting pencil.Use it in the corner of your eyes.A flesh toned pencil used on the waterline can also brighten the eyes.Some people use white,but I think using white in the waterline looks unnatural.You can also use a liquid highlighter like HighBeam from Benefit.There are also illuminating creams out there but that might be pricey,but if you can find a good one and want long-term brightening effects,go for it.They won't work on everyone though,and if you have extreme dark circles like me,I wouldn't recommend them.Always remember to moisturize the eye area before applying any product to it.Also,if you need more coverage than brightening,keep looking for a concealer that matches your shade,or pair one with a foundation and set with powder.You can also buy one with illuminating effects.Bright eye shadows and eyeliners will brighten too,but that may be harsh if you overdo it,so use sparingly.You can look up eye brightening makeup looks online. :) Hope this helps :)What should I use to brighten the area around my eyes? In some cases creamy concealira won't work. It's best if u try using a liquid concealer so that it doesn't look caked on like a cream one would. Another tip: concealer should also match ur skin, it shouldn't be any more than one or two shades lighter. Esp if u have darker skin, a concealer that's too light can look ashy therefore make u look tired.


-use a shimmery shadow in ur tear ducts and in corners of ur eyes


-use a white eyeliner, like fascinating eye kohl by mac, on ur waterline to make ur eyes appear bigger and brighter


- take time on ur lashes, curl them and apply mascara. Nice lashes really open up ur eyes.

you need a highlighter (not like, the ones you use for school :D )





elf actually has a good one in their studio line that comes with concealer. benefit makes a good one as well.
White eyeliner on your waterline and a little bit lower on your lower lashline.
