My dog has a pretty bad scratch in his eye, it looks a little blue, will Terramycin help? I cant afford a Vet!

No you cant use that. If the cornea has been scratched it is very painful and your vet is the only one who can help your dog.

You will have to get him into the vets for help, if you leave it it Will get infected and case the dog alot of pain and possible loosing the sight in that eye.My dog has a pretty bad scratch in his eye, it looks a little blue, will Terramycin help? I cant afford a Vet!

Did he scratch the cornea of his eye?! Do you know how painful a corneal abrasion is?!! Go to the vet for the correct treatment.
your dog need to see a vet you cant treat eye injuries at home the cornea could be damaged ,your dog will be in a lot of pain, and if left untreated he could get an infection and end up going blind or even loosing his eye.why do people buy pets and then say i cant afford vet care insurance pet insurance
That is what I use for eye infections in dogs and cats. I have seen it preform wonders. If it is the cornea, I would have it checked.
One of my chihuahuas gets corneal ulcers all the time. I have to put drops in her eyes(prescribed by our vet) when it happens and it usually goes away within a day, 2 at the most. If left alone he can go blind. Take it from someone who has had 10 eye surgeries over the past 2 years. Vision is very precious. Don't take a chance with your dog's eye. Take him to the vet. Borrow the money, or ask the vet to take a post dated check.
it may develop cysts,so keep an eye on it.our lapso apso had scratches on both and they got soo bad we had to bring her to the vets and they had to sew her eyes shut for weeks.they are better now,but she still can't see 100%.and it cost hundreds .see if you can get something or e-mail me and i should be able to tell you what the vets gave us.
should not have a pet if you can't bring him to the vet. Maybe you should find another home for him with someone who can afford the medical care
A vet needs to look at his eye. I recently went through this with my blind yorkie - she had a ';scratch'; that turned into an ulcer and they had to operate on her eye and then her third eyelid was ';tacked'; up over her eye for 2 weeks. I had to put special numbing drops in her eye to ease the pain (scratches are VERY painful!) and other drops 2x a day for 2 weeks. After the stitches were taken out, she was fine. Do not put over-the-counter drops in his eyes - it sounds like he needs to see a vet immediately. Only the vet can give you drops that will ease the pain.
Sorry to sound like a broken record, but you NEED to take your dog to the vet. Accidents happen, most good vets can arrange a payment plan if need be. Good luck to you ~ AND your dog!!
You need to take your dog to the vet. With pet ownership sometimes comes vet bills.
