how do i get the dark smoky eye look withought looking all goth?How do i get dark smoky eyes look?
Use a darker eye shadow, and put your liner on a little thicker on the top and bottom. That's what I do. I don't like the goth look but I don't like to look like I don't have any makeup on either.How do i get dark smoky eyes look?
it depends on the color of your eyes.


if you have brown/dark green eyes; i've been told that using a blue-ish eyeshadow/liner would bring them out more, and if you want a dark smokey look, just use a dark shade. navy seems to work out well.


as for light green/blue eyes, rather than going for black, i'd suggest brown at first to look more natural, and then you can always apply more for that look you want. a deep brown could probably do that for you.


oh, and mascara. black mascara!

i line the top of my eyelid with liquid black eyliner and make the old '60's actress look and black lengthining mascara but i use light golden eyshadow so you have the smokey look but you also look glam and glowing

Use a light gray, like a shimmer gray color all over your lid and up to your brow bone. Then use a darker gray to do the outter corners of your eyes. Then use some mascara and as little eye liner as possible.
start with a silver base, on the lid and half way upt ur eyebrow, then darker grey on the outer lid, blend it and then depending on how dark u want to go, use a darker grey again or a black to gave the sexy, big lashes, smokey look, goes great with any outfit x

stay awake all night, don't get much sun, and drink alot of coffee (or blood of the undead - whichever is more convenient)
There are a lot of great tutorial videos on YouTube and some cosmetics sites. Also, Revlon (and probably a lot of other companies) have a specific eyeshadow kit for smoky eyes, so you don't have to buy four separate colors.
you start close to your eye lashes and you put a small line of eyeliner. then above and over that put a small later of black eyeshadow then above that put a little black and then white on top of that and gradually make it lighter as you go up your eye and blend it all together so you dont get lines...it will look funky. thats how i do it and i get a few compliments here and there. if it doesnt work im sorry.
go to the makeup counter at a mall dept store. Have them show you.
use a dark brown eye shadow on your eyelids and in the crease of your eye lid, then take a lighter, shineyer color and put it on the part of your eyebrow where you wax or pluck off your hairs....it works for me, and dont forget the mascarra!
