Eyeliner makes my eyes look small?

I use an Elizabeth Arden smooth lining eye pencil. Sometimes when I apply it, it makes my eyes look smaller. How do I apply it so that it makes me eyes look bigger?Eyeliner makes my eyes look small?

I would just tell you to stop using it, but if you really loveit then here are some tips;





-only apply it in a thin line on the top OR bottom lash line, not both





-put the eyeliner in the lash line, dont draw a straight line right above your lashes.





-try a different color liner, like bright blue, it opens your eyes, plus the color is pretty!

don't put it all around your eye, work your way in from the outer edges of your eye. (I recommend liquid eyeliner) I usually have my eyeliner fade out once I get to the middle of my eye. Then on your inner eyelids apply some sort of highlighter (I like white or pale pink shimmery powder) then apply some to the underside of your eyebrows. That'll make your eyes look nice and big.
don't apply on lower lashes, it may be overwhelming to your eyes. apply a colorful liner to your lower lashes if you have to, then to add some color line a very small line on your top lashes, them just put eyeliner on your upper lash line. add lots of mascara to make your eyes look huge and betty-boopish.
invest in a white eyeliner, like rimmel, and put it in the inner corners of your eyes, or along the water line... and/or with your main eyeliner, stay away from black because it tends to close in the borders, etc. Go with a charcoal or a gray. Colors are in this spring to

easy, use liquid on the upper outter lining of the eye. make the inner part a fine and gradually make it thicker and you line it out. and use a white or pearl color eye pencil on ineinner par of your eye! works so perfect i do ithis way. my eyes look like babydoll big!
black eyeliner is actually meant to do that. So get some white eyeliner and put on the 'inside' or around the outside. you can also try just putting the black around the outside and not on the inner part. it will help you make your eyes look larger
First of all, DO NOT wear black eyeliner b/c it only makes your eyes look smaller, use a pale beige eyeliner!! along your lower inner lids and and dust a shimmery champagne shadow along your upper lash line to make your eyes look bigger. This works!
if you want them bigger %26amp; rounder, just put eyeliner on your top lashline.


ive experimented, and i discovered this quickly. not to heavy though, a thin line would do fine.


any color will do the trick.
White liner may sound odd, but it really opens up the eye. You can also try putting it on the inside corner of both your upper and your lower lids.
draw the line from the corner of your eye across two thirds of the top of your eye and one third of the way across the bottom of your eye

if you want yr eyez smaller apply it thick if you want yr eyez larger apply it @ the rims both top %26amp; bottom :)
eyeliner generally will make your eyes look smaller. maybe try a lighter shade of liner and dont apply it at the waterline
EA's liners are not necessarily good. Try MAC's and use it outside of your eye lines-
use some WHITE eyeliner.
Don't apply as much on the bottom. use more on the top lid.


remember... less is more

don't wear it...just use an eyelash curler and mascara to make your eyes look wide-eyed and bigger
